Welcome to the
Pembroke Regional Hospital
On behalf of our entire
healthcare team, I would like to personally welcome you to our healthcare
facility and let you know you're in good hands.
Built in 1878 by the Grey Sisters, our Hospital was designed to meet the needs
of our growing community. Since those early days, those who care for our
patients have worked hard to develop a reputation for providing quality care and
compassion to all those in need.
Today, we continue to build on that reputation and pride ourselves in the care
we provide for our families, our friends and our neighbours. While we remain your
community hospital, we have certainly grown over the years, in terms of the
scope of services offered, our organization, our team of professionals, and our
facility in order to best meet the healthcare needs of the communities and
region we serve.
Today, the services and technology we offer and use at the Pembroke Regional
Hospital are comparable to those in any urban centre and in many ways surpass
what is offered elsewhere.
In addition, we are recognized as a teaching hospital affiliated with the
University of Ottawa's Faculty of Medicine, but we also continue to care for our
patients in the way you would expect in a smaller community - it's the best of
both worlds.
As skilled and dedicated healthcare professionals, we recognize that courteous,
professional, patient-focused healthcare is what matters most to those we serve
and we are committed to providing excellence in health services while working
effectively with our healthcare partners.
On behalf of the Board, Senior Leadership Team and staff at PRH, I invite you to
learn more about our facility and the services we offer by browsing this site.
Any questions you may have, or feedback you may wish to provide is most welcome
