Diagnostic ImagingOverview: The Imaging Department provides diagnostic services on the written order of a doctor. Requisitions for CT - Computed Tomography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Echocardiography, Mammography, Bone Mineral Densitometry, Fluoroscopy / Gastrointestinal or for other Special Procedures are faxed to the department (613) 732-6349 by the referring physician's office. Requisitions for routine general X-ray (eg. chest/ foot/ ankle) do not have to be faxed bus should rather be presented by the patient at time of arrival to the department. Some examinations require special preparation. Information sheets should be distributed from the referring physician's office. We have also made a directory of instructions here for your benefit. If you have any questions please follow up with your physician. Patients will need their Health Card when they come to the department . Although most procedures are covered by OHIP there may be examinations that are not covered and which may be billed directly to the patient.
