Social Work Department

The Adult Counseling section and the Sexual Assault Counseling Centre of the Social Work Service provide confidential, office sessions to individuals, couples and family groupings ages 16 and over.

There is no cost for clients possessing a valid Health Card.

Master's level social workers provide counseling on various issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, anger, work stresses, marital and other relationship problems, and recovery from emotional trauma or physical or sexual assault.
