Surgical

The registration or pre-booking of your admission and surgery involves appointment scheduling with the Patient Information Department by your physician.

The Surgical Unit and the Operating Room suites are located on the Surgical Unit (3rd floor).

Please stop at the nursing station and inform the unit clerk that you have arrived.

Your admission will be either the day before or the day of your surgery.

You will go to surgery about 1/2 hour before your scheduled time and will be in the Recovery Room for approximately (1) hour after your surgery is completed.

Please bring your own night wear, toiletries, kleenex, and other personal care items with you.

Our aim is to provide you with the best possible care during your stay with us.

We request that only one family member be with you the day of your surgery.  Please review the hospital's Visitor Information for hours & guidelines.

While you are in surgery your family is able to wait in the lounge located on the 3rd floor. Family are not allowed in Recovery Room, but the staff will be able to keep your family and friends well advised about your status at all times.

A smoking lounge for patients is located within the cafeteria on 2nd floor. You are allowed to go alone or with your family when your condition permits.

Your visitors are kindly asked not to smoke in the Hospital.

You are welcome to visit the Chapel located on 3rd floor at any time and your clergy are welcome to visit you at any time.
