Pembroke Regional Hospital is following all public health advice in a rapidly changing context of the COVID-19 pandemic. All patients coming into Tower C will be screened according to current public health advice.

The William H. Higginson Hemodialysis Unit is located on the Ground Floor, Tower C. The Pembroke Regional Hospital provides housing and support services for the 6-station dialysis unit which is a satellite unit managed by the Renfrew Victoria Hospital.

Patients on hemodialysis normally receive three treatments each week for four-hour sessions. The treatments cleanse the blood of impurities, a function normally performed by healthy kidneys. The unit serves Pembroke and area residents including Deep River, Petawawa and Eganville.
