The Pembroke Regional Hospital is seeking a Financial Analyst. This position is offered on a Temporary Full-Time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a great team. The Financial Analyst functions as a member of the Finance team to support the provision of financial and statistical data that is required to support Hospital services. This position will perform professional accounting work including preparation, analysis and auditing of financial and statistical information, fixed asset management, account and program reconciliations, and other required reporting.
 
Requirements:
• University Degree in Commerce or Business Administration with Accounting major
• CPA designation
• A minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience
• Knowledge of financial and procurement software programs
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs, with advanced knowledge of Excel
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing quality improvement
• Knowledge of accounting software programs
• Ability to work independently and as a member of team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet recurring deadlines
• Must be flexible to work additional hours during peak times to ensure tasks are completed by required deadlines
• As healthcare is a continually changing industry, the successful candidate must be flexible and adaptable to changes in their duties.
• Must have demonstrated ability to meet the attendance standards of the Hospital
 
Preferred:
• Experience in a healthcare setting
• Bilingualism (French / English)
