The Renfrew County Emergency Services Golf Tournament raised $7,471.49 in support of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation's Diagnostic Imaging Department and ongoing efforts to fund a new CT Scanner for Pembroke Regional Hospital.

 

Held on Tuesday, August 25th at Whitetail Golf Club in Eganville, the tournament was organized by Lee Dennique and Desiree L'Ecuyer and brought together emergency services personnel from across Renfrew County for a day of golf and fundraising.

 

Lee Dennique recently presented the proceeds from the tournament to Roger Martin, Executive Director of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation, during a cheque presentation at the Foundation office.

 

"We are grateful to Lee, Desiree, and everyone involved in making this tournament possible," said Martin. "The funds raised will support Diagnostic Imaging services at Pembroke Regional Hospital and help advance our efforts to bring a new CT Scanner to our region. Events like this play an important role in supporting health care close to home, and we sincerely appreciate their commitment and generosity."

 

Organizers were pleased with the turnout and support received for this year's tournament and look forward to supporting the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s greatest equipment needs for the hospital through the event in the years ahead. Dennique expressed his appreciation to the sponsors, participants, and Whitetail Golf Club for helping make the fundraiser such a success.
