The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce that Pamela Brough was the Week 14 winner of Catch the Ace, taking home $10,692.

 

Pamela's ticket was selected during the Week 14 draw held September 16th, earning her the weekly prize and the opportunity to choose one of the remaining envelopes in hopes of uncovering the Ace of Spades. Pamela selected Card #33, revealing the Queen of Diamonds, meaning the Ace of Spades remains hidden and the excitement continues to build.

 

"We're thrilled for Pamela and grateful for the continued support of our Catch the Ace lottery," said Roger Martin, Executive Director of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation. "Thanks to the enthusiasm of our players and the generosity of our community, Catch the Ace has already helped fund important equipment throughout the hospital and is now supporting a new Staff Duress System that will enhance safety for both staff and patients."

 

Thanks to the incredible support of the community and Catch the Ace players, $304,131 has been raised for local health care through the current lottery.

 

Proceeds have already funded three beds for Acute Mental Health, a new lighting system for our Obstetrics unit, and 11 new stretchers and medical chairs throughout the hospital.

 

The Foundation is now raising funds for a $150,000 Staff Duress System to enhance safety and emergency preparedness during high-alert situations. To date, $34,131 has been raised toward this project.

 

Adding to the excitement, Week 15 tickets are now on sale, and thanks to the generous support of Pierre's West End Garage, this week’s draw will feature a guaranteed weekly jackpot of $15,000, regardless of ticket sales.

 

"This is a fantastic opportunity for players," added Martin. "Not only are participants supporting healthcare close to home, but someone is guaranteed to take home $15,000 in this week's draw."

 

Catch the Ace proceeds support the Foundation's Together We Care Campaign, helping ensure local patients have access to exceptional care close to home.
